"Meet Glendon Motorsports' Staff"
Having the right people matter and with that in mind we've hired some of the Lakeland's most talented and experienced with respect to the powersports industry, along with some bright and energetic young seedlings. Our staff is dedicated to the motorsports industry, ensuring exceptional service in the Sales, Service, and Parts and Accessories Departments.
Rick McCarthy - Service Manager
Always with a smile and positive attitude, Rick steps up the level of professionalism to our service department. He has previous experience as a service manager in an Arctic Cat / Yamaha / Suzuki Dealership. On a more personal note, Rick is a family guy right down to the core and on his free time you'll usually find him with his children and grandchildren.
Kendall Snyder - Journeyman Motorcycle Mechanic
Kendall brings to Glendon Motorsports mechanic skills unsurpassed throughout the Lakeland. He is a multi-ticketed mechanic with many OEM certifications and high achieving accomplishments. With Kendall you'll find a licensed red seal motorcycle mechanic, a licensed heavy duty mechanic, a Yamaha Mechanic placing one of the top ten for Yamaha in Canada a few years ago, a Catmaster Technician, among many other accomplishments. On his free time, you'll certainly find Kendall "fixing" things, usually vintage snowmobiles for his family to ride and enjoy.
Mike Drobot - Apprentice Motorcycle Mechanic
Growing up on a farm, Mike brings to Glendon Motorsports a great work ethic with a hard to find "gifted" mechanical aptitude. With a passion for dirtbikes that surpasses the norm, you can usually find Mike racing or making incredible jumps and tricks, which quite often is followed by repairs (mostly on the bikes, thankfully).
Ole Lotsberg - Apprentice Parts Technitian
Ole is our longest serving employee who started with Glendon Motorsports as a student since the company's inception. Ole is an old soul, and has a real passion for oldies music, restoring vintage snowmobiles and classic trucks. Unfortunately for him his taste in truck brands is something left to be desired, however we can reluctantly admit he did a "decent" restoration on an old Ford.
Shane Kissel - Sales Manager / Owner
Shane's roots begin as an apprentice motorcycle mechanic at the turn of the century. However with the lure of the oilfield, Shane left to pursue a 10 year career in the oilfield. Funny enough this gave him the ability to return to his true passion and start up his dream of owning his own dealership. It also gave him more opportunities to spend quality time with his young family, and lucky for him his two little girls share his passion for the off-road sports.
Julie Kissel - Web Designer / Marketing / Owner
Other than designing websites, marketing, bookkeeping, raising two daughters and helping Shane run the business, Julie is actually fairly busy. After leaving a career in the oilfield herself to concentrate more on the children and business, there has been no looking back as she has been enjoying every moment of it.
